Permanent Exhibition

In the historic rotunda of the Große Kunstschau a representative cross-section of the finest works of Worpswede’s first generation of artists is permanently exhibited. Among them is the most well-known major work of Worpswede art: The "Sommerabend" (summer evening) by Heinrich Vogeler from 1905. To the versatile sculptor, architect and painter Bernhard Hoetger is a special room dedicated.
