Heini Linkshänder

8 February to 14 June 2015

Linkshänder gained first graphic reproduction experiences in 1982 while attending an etching course held at the Salzburger Sommerakademie and led by Fritz Meckseper, who invited him to Worpswede. In his early years in
Worpswede the artist printed his graphic art himself. Simple boards, carpenter shop leftovers and linoleum pieces were transformed into printing blocks. These, with their own special character, were often subsequently turned into sculptures. Sometimes he used recycled paper or packaging material as print stock.
